The Silverfort ITDR way:

Real-Time protection natively integrates with your identity provider

What is Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR)?
ITDR is a category of security products that joins forces with allIdentity Providers (IdP) in the hybrid environment to provide real-time protection against identity threats, of which lateral movement is a prominent example.

How does ITDR work?
ITDR ingests authentication data straight from the IdP and analyzes it to detect if an incoming access request can be trusted or not. Following this analysis, the ITDR instructs theIdP – in our case Active Directory – whether to grant access or deny it.

An ITDR solution is measured by the accuracy of its detection and by its ability to block malicious authentications as they happen.

Preventing Lateral Movement in Active Directory

Active Directory and ITDR protection flow from the point when a user requests access to a resource.
